ATTITUDE OF RURAL WOMEN TOWARDS SOME ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN DUHOK GOVERNORATE, KURDISTAN REGION OF IRAQ

The main objective of this study is to identify the rural women’s attitudes towards some environmental issues in Duhok Governorate, Kurdistan region Iraq. Area random sampling was used select research sample which (507) women. A questionnaire designed collect data, consisted two parts, independent variables and scale (54) items distributed on four domains (Rural tourism, Home waste management, Sustainable agriculture, methods using conservation forest). Experts content validity were achieve scale, Cronbach alpha formula measure reliability it, its value (0.945). data analyzed with SPSS program. results showed that attitude respondents all studied positive. also there significant correlation between each following (Level education, Satisfaction services village, Agricultural information sources, Cultural openness). While no with: (Age, Material status, Current work, Participation family decision –making). included conclusions recommendations.
